I grew up on my Grandfather's farm in Leroy, IL that traces my family raising cattle on the same piece of land since at least 1835. Grandpa Beryl gave me and the rest of his grandsons and granddaughters their first cows to keep the family tradition going. I received "Samantha" when I was 4 years old and was hooked from that moment on.

I began showing in 4-H when I was 8 years old and continued on showing in it and FFA until I aged out at 19. I would often show 10-14 head a summer while helping the rest of the family on the farm everyday I didn't have school or a sporting event.

I ended up joining the Livestock Judging and Meat Animal Evaluation Team at both Lincoln Land Community College and the University of Illinois where I placed in the Top 10 individuals at 6 different contests.

After graduating from the University of IL in 2015 I worked as a Professional Services Embryologist on the road for Trans Ova until 2018. In 2019 I worked for a farmer close to home until harvest then started working for Dameron Angus. In March of 2020 I became a Regional Manager for Dawe's Nutrition where I stayed until July of 2026. In July of 2021 I got back into the in vitro world as a Bovine IVF Specialist for Vytelle. While working two full time road jobs I traveled to 42 states in 2 years and had countless plane rides and hotel stays. As a Regional Manager I turned a 400K sales territory to over a million in less than 5 years. As an Embryologist I have covered around 10,000 aspirations, 500 conventional flushes, and multiple thousand embryos froze and thawed.

On September 6th, 2022 we hosted our very first IVF collection at my Dad's Farm in DeWitt. In June of 2023 we partnered with Carter's Corner and Sydenstricker Genetics to bring reliable IVF coverage to more of the MidWest. In March of 2025 we continued expanding to partner with Hat Creek Genetics and in December of 2025 Lee County Vets. In June of 2026 we moved down the road from Dad's Farm to my own in Heyworth. We have now made over 17,000 embryos for cattlemen!

In May of 2024 we bought a house, 40 acres, and 2 barns to start really building our own vision of the cowherd. We had to build every inch of fence, put in waterlines, concrete, spray foam, sheds/offices, and many other tasks to get it up and running that is still a working progress to this day and probably always will be but that is all part of the fun.

We currently run 35 cows
18 of which are daughters or great granddaughters of National Champion Females. Featured Families: Sara's Dream, Northern Miss, Primrose, Princess, Phyllis, Missie, and Cover Girl.
8 of which are on our Production Angus Side with an average $C of 435. Featured Families: Fanny, Lady, Rita, Linda, and Blackcap May.
9 out of former show heifers I started to build my herd around. Featured Families: Brandi, Barbara, and Proven Queen.

In 2024 we welcomed my daughter into the world.
